The following areas in Bolivia are particularly suitable for installing ERV (energy recovery ventilation) systems due to their special climatic conditions:
1. Southwestern Atacama Desert Extension Area
This area belongs to the extremely arid zone, with annual precipitation generally less than 0.1 mm, and some areas have even set a record of 91 consecutive years without rainfall.
High temperature evaporation is strong, and the temperature difference between day and night is significant. The ERV system can efficiently recover energy from exhaust air,
maintain indoor humidity balance and reduce air conditioning energy consumption.
2. Dry and hot valleys on the eastern foot of the Andes Mountains
Affected by the föhn effect, the air flow sinks and warms after crossing the mountains, forming a dry and hot microclimate (local temperature rise can reach more than 20°C).
The ERV system can effectively adjust the temperature and humidity of the fresh air here, alleviate the problem of indoor overheating caused by föhn winds, and reduce ventilation energy consumption.
️ 3. Highland cities (such as La Paz)
La Paz has an average altitude of over 3,600 meters and is the highest capital in the world. The temperature difference between day and night on the plateau is large (over 15°C in some areas),
the air is thin and low in oxygen. The ERV system can ensure indoor air circulation while recovering heat/cold in the exhaust air, thereby optimizing the building's energy-saving effect.
