Ventilation system are becoming more and more popular among house renovations, but there is always some confusion when choosing and installing them. Read this article to take you through some installation precautions!

❶ The structure of the house is not good, and the north and south are blocked.

❸ The house faces the street or a viaduct, causing exhaust gas pollution.

❺ The kitchen and bathroom/cloakroom is damp and the ventilation is not smooth.

❻ Have elderly people, children, pet etc. in family.

Installation notes:

☑Admission time. Before doing water and electricity work, ask an engineer to come to your home to issue a pipe layout plan, determine the location of equipment, sockets, and drilling holes, and complete the installation before carpentry ceiling work. 

☑Host installation. Generally, the installation height of the ventilation system host is about 300MM, and it is mostly installed in kitchens, bathrooms, balconies and other areas where the floor height requirements are not high.

☑Pipe installation. Minimize corners as much as possible; avoid right angles, use inclined tees or 45-degree corners to reduce wind resistance and wind loss; indoor and outdoor air inlets and outlets should be as far away as possible. The best distance is generally more than 1 meter, and the shortest distance is The length of the pipe should be three times the diameter to prevent fresh air from being discharged as soon as it enters the room.

☑Different regions have different configurations. For example, in relatively humid areas, it is recommended to install full heat exchange ventilation system with humidity exchange. In the North, sensible heat exchange fresh air can be installed (antifreeze models are required in some areas). In areas with severe haze, HEPA filters that filter PM2.5 can be added.

☑Do not install in places with high temperatures or direct contact with flames. Use at high temperatures will cause the filter and heat exchange core to be deformed or damaged. At the same time, the host cannot be installed in a place with high humidity to avoid short circuit.
